TRES CHEEK

a water-resistant tint for the pool and beyond.

by faran krentcil

You shouldn't care what you look like splashing around in the pool, but you probably do. And it's okay, we get it - there are camera-phones lurking on every lawn chair, and lord forbid you get tagged in a crappy Facebook photo. If you're actually worried about this stuff, there's plenty of waterproof mascara and adhesive lipstick out there. Now there's also a blush that can help you out. After Benefit Cosmetics made a poppy pink and a deep raspberry tint for cheeks and lips, they've made one called "Cha Cha" that's a little bit warmer and lighter - in other words, the perfect hint of color to blend with your tan. And since it sticks on skin with the tenacity of a good lip stain, you can dive and splash in the pool - or skid in some rock festival mud - without seeing it fade. You don't need makeup every time you want to have fun (seriously), but for times when it's necessary for your face paint to stick longer and harder than normal, this is a very good thing to have in your stash.
