We know, we know. It’s getting chilly and you’re reaching for those worn-in leggings and cozy sweaters right about now. However, here at NYLONshop, we’re breezing past those basics with a fresh take on winter essentials—and we think you should, too.

This holiday season, we’re letting a few statement pieces dictate our wardrobes. None are a trade-off on style or comfort, which makes them all the more splurge-worthy. Who needs a pair of winter boots when you’ve can opt for a studded black bootie to take you from day to night, from indoor heat to outdoor chill? Who needs an “I wear this with everything” white sweater when a rad shearling bomber can suffice, and even go beyond the norms of comfort we all inevitably drift into come November? Or, at least, that’s the way we see things.
