CHVRCHES Covered Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River”

so. good.

Sometimes, waiting for our favorite artists to create new music is akin to waiting for a burger after a Tracy Anderson class. You want it so badly, but it's never ready fast enough. This morning, The Vaccines released a new song and now, one of our other favorite Brit bands CHVRCHES gave us a killer cover of Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River." So, yeah, we're feeling pretty satisfied at the moment.

Although the Scottish electro group hasn't released much original material aside from 2013's The Bones of What You Believe and the odd single ("Under the Tide," "We Sink," and their Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 song "Dead Air"), they have been busy reworking some classic songs. They've put their stamp on Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right But It's Okay," Lorde's "Team," and Arctic Monkeys' "Do I Wanna Know." For their Timberlake rendition, the group added their signature ominous tones, contrasted by Laura Mayberry's sweeter-than-Splenda vocals.
