Ramones estate co-manager Jeff Jampol has revealed that there is a fictional Ramones-centered film in the works and it involves Martin Scorsese, although his role in the film is unclear. In honor of the 40th anniversary of the band's debut album (in 2016), there's also a documentary, which will show never-before-seen footage from their '70s and '80s tours, a play, and a book will also be released. (Stereogum)

Zach Galifianakis, Louis C.K., and Jonathan Krisel are teaming up to create an original comedy series. Baskets, which follows Chip Baskets (Galifianakis) as he tries unsuccessfully to become a clown, will begin production next year and will air on FX in 2016. (Deadline)
