first look: for love and lemons

cool clothes for going to the dark side, vampire fangs optional.

Sharpen your teeth and eyeliner and get ready for fall '13, For Love and Lemons style. The latest lookbook from the L.A.-based brand, dubbed Interview With A Vampire and featuring Moscow model maverick Anna Selezneva (who, fun fact, was scouted in a McDonald's and loves horse riding), includes a helluva lotta velvet, lace, and thigh-high slits--think Wednesday Addams if she graduated high school and had a fling with a serious bad boy.

It's childhood friends Gillian Mahin and Laura Hall who artfully masterminded the brand (named after the lemonade stands they would run as kids), and this highly covetable collection continues For Love and Lemons' streak as a go-to for a killer skirt-top (or dress) combo (there's not a trouser in sight).

And while we debate personal favorites--I'm partial to the black velvet and lace long-sleeve mini-dress--there is one thing that we can all agree on: it's definitely pet raven optional.
