8 Famous Music Video Locations You Can Actually Stay At

From an RV park in Joshua Tree to a historic hotel in London.

The best music videos take you away, providing an escape from the mundanity of everyday life. The following eight videos were all filmed at locations you can visit — for an actual getaway, or two.

“White Dress,” Lana Del Rey

You can stay in an RV, down at the Hicksville Trailer Palace, in Joshua Tree, California, where Lana shot the first video off of her new album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club. We only mention it ‘cause it’s such a scene.

“Blank Space,” Taylor Swift

The historic Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York has been used as a filming location for several projects, including one of Swift’s most famous hits.

“Miss Jackson,” Panic! At The Disco

The opening credits of this video might claim that it’s set in Las Vegas, Nevada, but it was actually shot at a Motel 6 in Barstow, California.

“Wannabee,” Spice Girls

The historic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London contains multitudes — it’s both the video set for one of the most famous pop songs of all time, and a Marriott.

“Spirit,” Beyoncé

Though the famous Havasu Falls in Arizona are currently closed to protect against COVID, you can typically visit (and stay near) the magical spot, which sits at the end of a 10-mile hike into the Grand Canyon.

“Colors,” Halsey

The Rosenheim Mansion, built in 1908 at 1120 Westchester Place in Los Angeles, has at various times offered accommodations to guests keen on spending the night at the “murder house” from American Horror Story.

“Work,” Rihanna (feat. Drake)

You may not be able to spend the night, but the Real Jerk restaurant in Toronto, Canada where Rih and Drake filmed their sultry dancehall party certainly deserves a spot on the list — and a visit.

“G.U.Y.,” Lady Gaga

Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California remains one of America’s campiest tourist destinations, making it the perfect place to film an ARTPOP video.
