Gen Alpha’s It Girls Are Cute & Ready To Rule

The next generation of It Girls are primed for a takeover.

Some It Girls are born, not made. And for Generation Alpha, or those born between 2010 to now, there’s already a crop of mini It Girls leaving us flabbergasted with their style, unabashed confidence, and gorgeous names. They may be less than four feet tall, but these children of celebrities are already mini icons. (And no, not all of them are Kardashian offspring.) Read on for NYLON’s favorite Gen Alpha It Girls.

Harper Beckham (born 2011)

Born into Britain’s other royal family, Harper Beckham is already a hairstyle chameleon who secures front row seats at fashion shows around the world. Whether Harper becomes a soccer player, pop star turned fashion mogul, or Instagram chef like her brother Brooklyn, has yet to be determined, but she’s already an It Girl-in-training.

North West (born 2012)

Already called the “voice of the Alpha Generation,” North West is a born tastemaker. As the first-born child of arguably the most famous people on earth, North had a cover story spread before most people enter kindergarten.

Blue Ivy Carter (born 2012)

Blue Ivy’s It Girl status was cemented in the womb by virtue of being Beyoncé’s daughter. Plus, her prenatal heartbeat was featured in Jay-Z’s song “Glory.” It doesn’t get more It Girl than that.

Penelope Disick (born 2012)

Penelope may be ten but she’s already got a firm grasp on what her TikTok audience wants. In a recent video, she made fun of her dad Scott Disick (a man famously easy to make fun of) for not being able to help her with her homework.

Ren Chen (born 2014)

Lucky magazine editor turned Instagram executive Eva Chen’s daughter Ren is already art-directing her mom in Instagram photo shoots and wearing matching rainbow gowns on the streets of NYC.

Junie Shumpert (born 2015)

The daughter of Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert may be only seven, but she has already nonchalantly walked down the streets of Paris in a better outfit than I will ever don, and even interviewed her parents for Ebony. Charisma for days!

Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. (born 2017)

Olympia has brains and braun in her bloodline — what else can you expect when your dad is a Reddit co-founder and your mom is tennis champion and noted “Greatest of All Time” Serena Williams? The five-year-old is especially tight with her mom, whose career tennis highlight inspired her daughter’s name. "Fun fact my daughters initials are AO as in the Aussie Open she won with me," Williams tweeted.

True Thompson (born 2018)

Rocking furry Ugg slides and a sleeveless fur vest, True Thompson is only four years old, but is already captivating the internet as a style icon with a cute little smile of gold and a penchant for fearless dance moves.

Chicago West (born 2018)

The young West is already a bonafide model — famously serving Blue Steel in the Kardashian Christmas card last year. Born around the same time as True Thompson and Stormi Webster, the three little It Girls are known as “the triplets.” Major star power!

Stormi Webster (born 2018)

Stormi isn’t even in kindergarten yet and already has a net worth for $420 million. But that doesn’t stop her from doing normal kid things, like, you know, having lavish birthday parties and lip-syncing along to her dad Travis Scott’s 2014 hit “Mamacita.”

Kulture Kiari Cephus (born 2018)

Cardi B and Offset’s daughter Kulture is already a force to be reckoned with. The bio for her Instagram (which is run by Cardi)? “I like everything pink💝 Spoiled💟.” Um, aspirational? She already knows how to ham it up for the camera, as seen in a selection of precious photos from her mermaid-themed fourth birthday party.

Khai Malik (born 2020)

The youngest It Girl out there is the daughter of famously gorgeous parents Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, but we won’t get to see much of her for awhile. Hadid and Malik released an open letter to paparazzi and fans sharing that they won’t be sharing photos of her face, letting her “choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age.” Still in diapers and already changing what it means to be a baby celebrity!
