Salomon’s Collaboration With Margiela MM6 Is Techwear Heaven

Outdoor sports apparel label Salomon released the first chapter of its collaboration with MM6 Maison Margiela, a capsule of five new aesthetically unconventional and high-tech shoes.

Salomon has become a cult-favorite sneaker for the fashion elite over the years, counting Bella Hadid and the Olsen twins as fans.

The shoes have even made it onto the New York Fashion Week runways, and have become a staple among coveted designers like Sandy Liang.

“Our motivation was to create a shoe that could easily transition between cityscapes and the great outdoors — a single product that both maintained Salomon’s high-performance specifications and also resonated with MM6 Maison Margiela’s contemporary aesthetic,” said the MM6 Maison Margiela design team.Salomon x MM6 Maison Margiela
