Layla Halabian is NYLON's culture editor, where she oversees coverage on books, internet trends, art, and rising stars in film and television. Prior to that, she served as NYLON’s entertainment writer. Her writing has been featured in other publications like The FADER, Dazed, and Stereogum.
She’s currently working on her first novel. Outside of writing, her main passions in life are aimlessly wandering around Manhattan and learning about strange, intoxicating perfumes.
Layla has yet to forgive Instagram for the infographic industrial complex, and because of that, you can find her exclusively on Twitter at @laylology.
