So far

The 92nd Academy Awards air on February 2, and as usual will bring together some of Hollywood's biggest names, brightest stars and a handful of hopeful newcomers to celebrate achievements in the industry and see which films will take home the night's big prizes. This year, the Oscars join awards ceremonies like the Golden Globes in continuing the problematic trend of ignoring or downplaying the work and contributions of anyone not white, cis and male, but there are still some possibilities within the nominations for surprises and upsets yet to be seen.
