Today is...
St. Patrick's Day!
News of the Day:
+ Selena Gomez has just graced us with her first-ever American Vogue cover. The former Disney star stuns in the glossy's April issue spread in which she discusses her mental health, time in rehab, and why there’s nothing wrong with being vulnerable. The interview is a candid look into the behind-the-scenes world of Instagram’s most followed user, showing us who she is behind all the glitz and glamour of her Hollywood life. Gomez is incredibly open and honest, leaving almost no stone unturned (just don’t ask her about her rumored romance with The Weeknd). Her latest project, 13 Reasons Why, which she executive produced, debuts on Netflix later this month. Read the full interview here.
+ Weezer just dropped a new single off of their forthcoming eleventh album, and we're freaking out. The track titled “Feels Like Summer” will make you wish for warm weather so you can blast it with the windows down. The U.S. leg of their tour just kicked off in Austin, Texas.
+ If you've ever wanted to combine your love for the iconic '90s drama, Twin Peaks, with your love for skateboarding, now is your chance. In anticipation of the Twin Peaks revival, Habitat Skateboards had teamed up with director David Lynch to create skate decks and merchandise featuring images from the classic series. The Showtime revival doesn't premiere until May, but you can pick up a skateboard with Laura Palmer's face on it to hold you over until then here.
+ Chelsea Clinton has announced the release of her new children's book, She Persisted, due out May 30. The book features stories of 13 American women "who changed the world." The title is a nod to the quote "nevertheless, she persisted," which went viral after Senator Elizabeth Warren was kicked out of the Senate while protesting the nomination of Jeff Sessions. No word yet on whether Hil will be featured in the book, but we do have high hopes.
