Adidas' Stan Smith sneakers are very popular. They've become as ubiquitous to Fashion Month as Vans, stilettos, and more avant-garde shoe creations. They're classic, and you don't mess with a classic, but Adidas did. And it worked.
The Stan Smith Shock Primeknit finds the German brand hopping on the sock-as-shoe trend, swapping the iconic leather upper for an ankle-height upper made out of Adidas' Primeknit material. The soles maintain Stan Smith's traditional rubber style. To ward off any confusion, a leather branded overlay is attached to the back.

Currently, the Shock Primeknit is only available on Adidas' Australian site. A United States rollout is expected soon, along with more colorways, including the iconic green-and-white. As of right now, the shoe is only available in Adidas' signature "Wonder Pink" hue—something millennials should have no problem with. Between these and Vans' recent athleisure kicks, your feet are in for one comfortable summer.
