ASOS Teamed Up With GLAAD For A New Capsule Collection
Complete with a Tommy Dorfman-fronted campaign
ASOS just dropped a brand-new, rainbow-filled streetwear offering, and it’s for a good cause.
Joining forces with LGBTQIA organization GLAAD, the U.K.-based retailer launched an exclusive capsule to serve as part of its new “Together” campaign.
The collaboration consists of an assortment of gender-fluid tees, hoodies, totes, and jewelry—ranging from wardrobe staples to statement pieces. Throughout the offering, you’ll find the word “unity” and GLAAD’s signature ampersand emblazoned on neutral-toned clothing, as well as ampersand rings and necklaces. The collection serves to allow its wearer to use fashion as a means to speak out and advocate for issues affecting the community.
Of course, this colorful union wouldn’t be complete without a killer campaign to go along with it. The two tapped 13 Reasons Why actor Tommy Dorfman to front it, featuring other influential LGBTQ names, like Adam Eli and Richie Shazam, throughout.
In addition to sharing GLAAD’s powerful message of inclusiveness, ASOS is giving back, too. For each item from the new capsule purchased, ASOS is donating five British pounds (around $7) back to the organization. Considering the entire collection ranges from $13 to $48, that’s a pretty significant amount going back to the good cause.
