When Paulina Wonders, the face behind emerging Montreal brand Atelier Wonder, described her aesthetic as “sassy bad kids with a dash of DIY,” we immediately knew we liked her. And after flipping through the new Atelier Wonder F/W 2015 collection, we straight up declared our love. Yeah, yeah. We know that dropping the "L word" on a first date is usually a deal breaker, but don’t worry: Wonders didn’t run away at the first sign of commitment.
With bold sci-fi graphics and flattering shapes, Atelier Wonder’s F/W 2015 collection exudes a dark sex appeal. Inspired by Blade Runner and sci-fi author Philip K. Dick, the line features atypical bodycon dresses, cropped jackets, and printed minis. "I wanted to explore ideas of biorobotics, being more human than human," says Wonder. "I also drew inspiration from cyber punk aesthetics.” We’ll have to give her that one. This collection is really out of this world.
