BAND CAMP
will you hop on board this season’s bandeau top trend?
Part of the fun of Fashion Week is turning each season's trends into one big guessing game. Show after show, we love placing bets on which looks parading down the runways are actually wearable- versus the ones that should fall into the "catwalk-only" category.
But ever since the underwear-as-outerwear fad first surfaced several seasons ago, it's been a bit of a wild card. It's high-fashion for sure, but it is possible to make it work in your own closet.
The key is finding a cool bandeau top that provides enough coverage and layering the piece under a jacket, a sweater like Kate Bosworth did on our cover, or even a breezy t-shirt, like Emma Roberts, below. It's cute, summery, and works equally well hanging out at a pool party as it does stomping around the city.
Check out the runways, celebrities, and retail stores jumping on the bandeau bandwagon below and let us know- will you be joining them this Spring?
