BEAUTY QUEEN: DIANNA AGRON

welcome to emerald eye city!

After a major dye job, there's always a transition period where you need to figure out just which of your onetime go-to beauty products no longer work with your new color. But for Dianna Agron, that shift was a quick one: The Glee star recently went from blonde to red, but last night there were no signs of any makeup mishaps; instead, she looked flawless.

"Dianna was wearing a white, beautiful Valentino dress, and the simplicity of it gave me the chance to play with colors, focusing on the eyes," explained Gianpaolo Ceciliato, who did the actress' makeup. We grilled him on how we can replicate the look--here's his four step guide:

PREP IT: NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and NARS Illuminator in Super Orgasm

After giving the skin with a good massage--yes, really!--Ceciliato applied a tinted moisturizer followed by this pearlescent highlighter on cheeks to give them a fresh faced glow.

LINE IT: Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeliner Crayon Intense in Emerald and MAC Paint Pot in Blackground

He then used the green liner inside the eye, going from side to side, before applying a thin line of cream eye liner as close as possible to the top lashes, smudging it just a little bit to give it a hazy, smokey look.

SHADOW IT: Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeshadow Smooth Eye Colour Duo in Laguna

Once your liner is set, use the darker shadow in this duo over the entire eyelid (he recommends going all the way up to the eye crease) before smudging a little bit along the bottom lash line. For the final touch, Ceciliato applied not one but two coats of mascara on both the top and bottom lashes (he recommends Lancome Definicils Precious Cells Mascara in black).

PINK IT: Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in #54 Boy

To finish off the look, he used Agron's own subtle bubblegum pink hued lipstick--according to him, "She loves it!" We're in complete agreement.
