nyc’s governors ball is underway.

On this very rainy day in New York, we're kicking off the Governors Ball three-day music festival on Randalls Island. Surely, festival-style will take a hit due to the rainy conditions, but if there's anything we learned from the first weekend at Coachella 2012 (it was super cold), attendees will work around the weather. Olivia Palermo attended Skyy Vodka's opening party in the humidity last night, but you couldn't tell. That's what inspired our guide to weathering the storm this weekend:

SHAMPOO IT:Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings, $25 Even before you dry your hair, humidity-fighting style starts with a wash and a rinse. With silk proteins, aloe, and vitamins--this one makes it easier to dry your hair straight. Follow with Paul Labrecque conditioner.

OIL IT:Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil, $38 Great for dry hair--it drastically reduces frizz and flyways. Use it before blow-drying. Apply a small amount afterwards to polish up the look.

SPRAY IT:Alterna Bamboo Smooth Anti-Humidity Hair Spray, $18 Spray this on to guard your hair from humidity without weighing it down.
