When Rihanna announced she was releasing a body luminizer, we instantly had questions: When is it coming out, and where can we get it? Our excitement only built further when Rihanna released those sensual videos showing off said product (you know, the ones that men recreated by using products that definitely aren’t Body Lava). And, when the covetable product was finally released and proceeded to sell out (plus was also, at $59, not affordable for everyone), some people got creative and made their own DIY versions. The point? Rihanna has influence.
And so, with that in mind, we’re just going to go ahead and predict that every man, woman, and child you come across this summer will have a blinding sheen to them. If Rihanna insists we glow, goddammit, glow we will. But since Rihanna's Body Lava shade “Who Needs Clothes?!” still appears to be sold out on both Sephora and Fenty Beauty’s website, we're going to have to get creative if we want to shine bright like Rihanna.
Ahead, we’ve rounded up alternative glitter body oils to help you get your glow on. Nothing can replace Rihanna, but these will get you pretty damn close.
