She wrote the cutest letter to commemorate her birthday
Yesterday, 37 years ago, our lord and savior Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter was born. To commemorate her big day, the singer wrote a message to her friends and loyal fans summing up her past year.
She shared her words on both Instagram and her personal website. For the post on her website, fans will notice that she titled it “Your Bitch At 36,” which is just the most apt thing we’ve seen in a while.
“At 36, I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy,” she shares. Her and Jay Z also released their album, Everything Is Love, and have been touring with their family around the world. “This year has been monumental for me,” she continues, thanking everyone in her life for the positivity and birthday wishes. “I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future.”
