This L.A.-Based Pop Project Will Be Your New Morning Fix

brett just wants to have fun

The moment you press play, you're going to be completely mesmerized by Brett's melodic and meditative tunes. The modern, four-piece pop project comes from Los Angeles by way of Washington, D.C. Today, we're premiering "Claire Drained" off the band's forthcoming Mode LP. The album art was taken from an original painting by L.A.-based artist Charley Alexander, which was then cut into 50 squares that will be sold with limited copies of the vinyl record.

Brett notes that this record sounds more mature than their previous releases with multiple ranges of emotional depth. Nevertheless, the band just wants listeners to have fun, and that's the vibe we instantly got from this groovy single.

Mode is due out on March 18 via Cascine. (Pre-order the limited edition vinyl here.) Listen to "Claire Drained" in full, below!
