Bruno Mars Shuts Down Vegas In The New “24k Magic” Video
A new album is coming November 18
They say good things come to those who wait. Well, we've waited four long years for a new Bruno Mars album, and on November 18, we're finally going to get it. Mars announced the follow-up to 2012's Unorthodox Jukebox by releasing the title track, “24k Magic,” with a raucous new music video to go along with it.
Directed by Mars and Cameron Duddy, the video further solidifies the singer's reputation as someone who just knows how to have fun. Partying in Vegas, guzzling Champagne, and jet skiing in the iconicFountains of Bellagio, equal just another day in the fabulous life of Mars.
As for the song itself, Mars is sticking to the disco/funk recipe that made his song Uptown Funk such a smash hit. “Tonight, I just wanna take you higher,” he sings, preparing for the jubilation that's about to follow. “Put yo’ pinky rings up to the moon Girls/ What y’all trying to do 24 karat magic in the air/ Head to toe soul player.”
Mars also revealed the album's cover art on Instagram, and wrote about the title track: "You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party."
This is one party we'll be attending. Watch the video for "24k Magic" above.
