Charli XCX’s Latest Single is Your New Party Anthem

We just can't get enough of Charli XCX, since the British pop princess stole the charts this summer with hits like "Boom Clap," from the beloved Fault in Our Stars movie soundtrack and killed it on a collab with Iggy Azalea's song of the summer, "Fancy." With her sweet'n'salty lyrics and fresh pop beats, it's no surprise that the songstress has taken over mainstream music and the indie scene alike. The Cambridge queen always gives us the ultimate sassy songs to groove along to, and her latest track, "Gold Coins," has got us doing just that.

Straight from her upcoming sophomore studio album, Sucker, this song shows the 22-year-old singer completely in her element, with a bold guitar line, uncompromising percussion, and the cherry on top: cheeky lyrics that have become the chanteuse's signature touch. Written with Icona Pop collaborator Patrik Berger, the song is definitely up to par with Charli XCX's chart-topping track record, complete with an unabashed solute to the lavish lifestyle of pink champagne and private jets. If the rest of the album—which includes Brit-pop salute, "London Queen"—can compare to this party-ready hit, Charli XCX most definitely will not be out of our sight for a while. And we're totally okay with that.
