Charli XCX and Rita Ora Take On the Wild West

in the “doing it” music video.

When you give two British pop queens a pink pick-up truck and set them loose in the desert, you can only expect something so amazing to happen that it's almost dangerous. So it's really no surprise that Charli XCX and Rita Ora are up to some serious antics in their Americana-themed music video for their girl gang anthem, "Doing It." Now this is a Western we'll want to watch over and over again.

Former NYLON cover girl (and prom queen of our hearts) Charli XCX sums up the rad video to Buzzfeed News, "I wanted it to be like this badass Barbie Thelma & Louise-esque video. So we robbed a store with toy guns, rode a bucking bronco, and nearly crashed a pink pickup truck through the desert." Talk about the escapade of our dreams.

This kind of Thelma & Louise is something we've seen before—just like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga did five years ago in the "Telephone" music video, these two pop stars are out on the town to get what they want, and they're serving up some rad tunes while they're at it. With mega 80s-feel and a major girl power vibe thanks to the combination of Charli's sweet vocals and Ora's R&B flair, this song is guaranteed to be at the top of our girl's night playlist for some time.
