Charlize Theron Invited Obama To A Strip Club Because She’s Awesome

When she’s not working as an Academy-Award winning actor, glamming it up as one of the world’s most beautiful celebrities, or ghosting a famously combative ex-boyfriend, Charlize Theron spends the rest of her time being truly amazing.

Case in point, on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, the South African-born actress explained how she invited none other than President Barack Obama to a strip club. Yes, that happened. 

While waiting backstage before a previous appearance on Kimmel, she attempted small talk with POTUS 44, who had come to the show to reach a “younger demographic.” Understandably nervous, she—let’s just let her explain. 

“There was this pause,” she told Kimmel, “and I didn't know what to say. All I could come up with was, ‘Well, if you're looking for a different demographic, I can take you to a strip club.’” So even when she’s being hopelessly awkward, Theron is still badass.

Of course, the President declined (because he’s the President), and Theron endearingly remembers the moment with cringing embarrassment, which you can watch below.
