Charlotte Simone X Superga’s New Shoes Are A ’90s Pom-Pom Fantasy Come True
Featuring fluffy slides, trainers, and platforms to keep summer colorful.
London-based accessory designer Charlotte Beecham of Charlotte Simone teamed up with the sneaker impresarios of Superga shoes for a fluffy, nostalgic line of summery trainers and slides. The exclusive styles drop today.
"I'm a trainer girl at-heart, I always wear sneakers, and I was pretty set on doing furry sneakers for the showcase," said Beecham to Refinery 29 when the shoes were teased back in February. "There's a pink fluffy mule and a velcro fluffy sneaker that's a nod to the '90s."
"We've got fluffy laces, we've got rainbow laces; the idea is that all the sneakers all have, like, six pairs of laces so you can interchange them" she added.
The faux-fur footwear comes in three exclusive styles: a trainer, a platform trainer, and a slide—prices range from $92.00-$105.00 and come in sizes 35.5-41.
Charlotte Simone's accessories have been worn by the likes of Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora, and many more. Known for her scarves and hats, her expansion into shoes marks new territory for the playful designer. The company has perviously teamed up with luxury retailer Luisa Via Roma.
Adorned with adorable heart and stripe embellishments, we're expecting to spot plenty of these shoes on the streets come September.
