As prior collaborations with everyone from Amy Winehouse to Stussy prove, U.K. label Fred Perry is so much more than just polos. Clearly, this old school brand has come a long way since its tennis roots from the 1900s.

But don't assume it's ditching its revered heritage entirely. For fall, the company has teamed up with fellow Brit Richard Nicoll on a collection that's equal parts old and new.

The Laurel Wreath line includes Fred Perry staples like slim trousers, simple striped tops and yes, even a polo or two- but these classics are intermingled with more fashion-forward goods like wool plaid shifts, patent A-line skirts, and a statement leather shearling jacket that we can't wait to add to our closets ASAP.
