It was a cotton candy dream
After a powerful sartorial blackout on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, it seems that color is making a comeback. At last night's 23rd Critics' Choice Awards, the stars chose to incorporate some subtle hues back into their awards show looks. The result? A pastel wonderland.
Floaty chiffons and tulles were worn in pink, mint, and chartreuse, while lace and gem-embellished gowns got the nude and off-white treatment. While we spotted other red carpet surprises (stripes! Florals!), there’s no doubt that cotton candy-like shades were last night’s trending hues.
