The New ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Trailer Is Peak Larry David

Larry David is not having any of it in the new trailer for Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Everyone’s favorite curmudgeon seems to be more curmudgeonly than ever, shushing crying people at funerals and shoving department store fragrance spritzers to the ground. It’s typical Larry, pissing off everyone from judges to bus drivers and especially his own friends.

The new season of Curb picks up five years after Season 8, which aired all the way back in 2011. In it, Larry became a single man and headed to New York City. In the new season, he’s still single but back in Los Angeles. It was revealed last week that Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham will be playing an NBC censor in Season 9 and Larry's love interest. Other guest stars this season include Elizabeth Banks, Jimmy Kimmel, Nick Offerman, Ed Begley Jr., Elizabeth Perkins, Carrie Brownstein, Nasim Pedrad, and Bryan Cranston, who we see in the trailer playing an exasperated doctor. Curb Your Enthusiasm returns on October 1 and you can watch the trailer, above.
