Here Are The Cutest Couples Of The Met Gala 2018

Team work makes the dream work

by Hafeezah Nazim

This year's Met Gala truly blessed us—quite literally—in more ways than one. Not only did we get to see our favorite celebrities in their finest religion-inspired frocks in honor of the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" theme, but we witnessed even more coordination than ever before between couples on the red carpet.

Some noteworthy moments were seeing the instantly iconic triple trifecta known as Lana Del Rey, Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, and Jared Leto, hit the red carpet looking like a royal family, and not one, but two (!!!) new couple alerts: Grimes and Elon Musk, and Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse. What better way to make an entrance than with that special someone by your side?

The "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" exhibit will feature 150 designer pieces, including 50 garments and accessories loaned from the Vatican. You can catch the exhibit on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art starting May 10, and feast your eyes on the best dressed couples of the evening, below.

Okay, technically, this isn't a couple, but rather a throuple, and yet we couldn't resist the opportunity to shoutout our queen mother Lana Del Rey, who absolutely killed her Gucci look alongside Jared Leto and Alessandro Michele. Can you say triple threat?

Versace-clad 2Chainz and his wife, Kesha Ward, have been married since 2013, but that didn't stop him from casually proposing again on the Met Gala steps. Honestly? Goals.

Looks like Jaden Smith got a major date upgrade. Last year, he arrived carrying his own golden locs. This year? A gold record.
