beauty queen: dianna agron

a grace kelly-inspired look for the 21st century.

Yes, we're partial to Dianna Agron--after all, just this week the onetime NYLON cover girl offered us an exclusive premiere of a clip from her new movie, The Family--but even if we weren't her beauty look at the film's New York screening would have caught our eye.

It's classic without being boring--and according to makeup artist Fabiola, who did Agron's makeup for the event, that was the point: "The inspiration was Grace Kelly chic."

You don't need your own makeup artist to rock the look at work, at the movies, or on the couch; here's how Fabiola did it:

GLOW IT: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Sand - $42

"I wanted to keep Dianna's skin glowing and fresh, so I used Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer where needed using the beauty blender."

LID IT: Nars Eye Paint in Tatar - $25

"We wanted to have the eyes be the focal point, so we opted for a sultry purple/gray smokey eye. First, I used Nars' Tatar eye paint all over the eye."

RIM IT: Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in Purple 11L - $19

"Then I rimmed the eyes with Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Liner in bright purple."

ACCENT IT: Chanel Le Blush Creme de Chanel in Inspiration - $38, Lancome Gloss In Love in Mocha Queen - $27

"I finished the look with Chanel cream blush on the apples of the cheeks and a Lancome nude gloss."
