Judging from the sheer number of glitter frocks and floor-grazing gowns at last night's AmFar Gala, this annual event is a
big deal.
However, as Dree Hemingway proves, you don't really need to go all-out in a dress to make a formal statement. The actress and model stood out in the sea of gowns thanks to her Chloe Resort pantsuit, and deep-parted beachy waves. Her makeup artist Nico Guilis used her outfit as inspiration for her au naturale beauty look--and proves that less really is more, even at a major party like this one. As he puts it, "I decided to do a simple and structured makeup look with a muted lip and contoured skin to her outfit was more masculine and structured." Oh, and while it looks great on Hemingway here, it should go without saying that this naturally pretty makeup works just as well for whatever your weekend plans entail.
