Watch Dua Lipa And Gallant’s Powerful Cover Of “Tears Dry On Their Own”

Today marks what would’ve been Amy Winehouse’s 34th birthday. She was an electric talent taken from us way too soon and, to honor the late legend, Dua Lipa and Gallant performed a gorgeous rendition of Winehouse’s “Tears Dry On Their Own.”

It’s a daunting task, we’re sure, covering a song that, for all intents and purposes, is pretty perfect already. But the duo delivered up an impressive slowed-down version that, at least, rivals the original. Gallant’s booming voice balances out Lipa’s husky style for a really special duet. If these two don’t already have a song in the works, this is a strong case that they should get on it.
