elle fanning lands a major fashion campaign!
Go Elle Fanning! Hot on the heels of her cameo in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's new HitRECord series, the actress has landed a major fashion campaign. The 15-year-old is officially the face of Miu Miu's spring 2014 collection, working the Italian label's vintage-inspired floral dresses to perfection. But then again, considering this is a Fanning sister we're talking about, is it really any surprise she killed it? Barrel curls and mustard tights and Miu Miu amazingness, this way. (Fashion Copious)
Last night marked the premiere of Pretty Little Liars, but if you're Lucy Hale, it was a double whammy celebration. The actress and singer debuted her new music video for "You Sound Good To Me" off her upcoming country album. We might associate Hale with Aria nowadays, but who can forget her star-making turn on American Juniors?! Watch the video below and see how far she's come since this. (Billboard)
Say what you will about the Google Glass, but leave it to Opening Ceremony to create a tech-centric collab that we can actually wear in real life. The brand has teamed up with Intel (otherwise known as the product found in most smartphones and computers) on a "smart concept bracelet" that will soon be sold at Barney's. No word yet on what exactly the accessory will do, though...so stay tuned. (The Verge)
The BAFTA Awards are often a solid indicator of what's to soon come at the Oscars. So judging from last night's BAFTA nominees, Gravity, American Hustle, and 12 Years A Slave are going to be huge this awards season (but let's be honest, we didn't really have to tell you that...). (Telegraph UK)
While we wait for her memoir (coming this year!), see why Carrie Brownstein thinks Portlandia is so successful. Hint: it might have something to do with the list of amazing guest stars, which this season include Kirsten Dunst, Olivia Wilde, Dan Savage, and Gus Van Sant. Whoa. (Stereogum)
Binge-watching Breaking Bad and eating doughnuts...turns out, the downtime on the set of Pretty Little Liars is way more similar to our weekend activities than we'd thought. (Rolling Stone)
