In the brand new video for Major Lazer's "Powerful," stars Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley take their lyrics quite literally, singing about energy and power while using their telekinetic skills to overtake a roadside diner. The striking James Slater-directed clip looks like a cross between X-Files and Twin Peaks, with Goulding and Riley playing strangers who show up at the diner and just kinda do their thing.
"Powerful" is the second single off Major Lazer's breakthrough album, Peace Is the Mission, and in our opinion a late contender for song of the summer.
