The Look: Erin Wasson for One Teaspoon, 2012
Erin Wasson may just be the perfect person ever because she knows that the only things a girl could ever possibly need are sun-graced beach waves, a kohl eye, and a rock and roll attitude (naturally). Little dresses, loose fitting tees, and a good pair of jeans don't hurt either.
The Face: Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47--$54
I'm half Moroccan, so you should really trust me when it comes to Argan oil. But, if you need more convincing, here it goes: It's a long-lasting, non-greasy, lightweight sunscreen that won't make your skin tingle. And with ingredients like green tea extract, titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide, it keeps your skin ultra-hydrated and super clear.
The Inspiration: Jeff Elrod's Paintings
Elrod uses Photoshop to draw and manipulate images and then either hand paints them or prints them directly onto canvas in an attempt to distance himself from consciousness. Whether or not you understand the intention, you can't help but be mesmerized by his complex, yet minimalist works.
The Song: "Crow" by 18+
I definitely wouldn't call myself a hip hop aficionado, so maybe that's why I haven't heard of 18+ before—although it could be the fact that the duo is more secretive than the Manhattan Project was, orr maybe just the fact that a quick Google search only turns up NSFW links. I would, however, consider myself a purveyor of spectacular jams. If this sultry, raunchy anthem doesn't get you up and dancing, I don't know what will.
