I’m quite the fan of coconut—especially when it comes to beauty products—so when I got word that The Estée Edit (the Sephora-exclusive collection by Estée Lauder which just launched last month) has a coconut oil-infused lip color, I obviously had to try it.
This magical lip balm/lip gloss hybrid, Cocobalm, is surely to become my go-to summer lip color. I don’t wear gloss very often as I’m usually not a fan of the stickier texture, but this formula goes on smooth and shiny, leaving your lips hydrated and stickiness-free. They’re available in fives softly pigmented shades: Cocowhite, Cocopeach, Cocoblush, Cocoberry, and Cococurrant. The result is a smooth, sheer color—even the Cococurrant applies on the lighter side—making these perfect alone or layered over lipstick.
I’m not sure what makes me fonder of them, the glorious scent (slightly fruity, slightly coconut-y) or the fact that they look like tiny little flying saucers. As a fan of sci-fi inspired things, I’m really into the futuristic casing.
They’re available for $26 a pop at Sephora, and I swear, it’ll be hard to pick just one. Click through the gallery below to get a closer look at each shade.
