ETERNAL FLAME
meet jim and kate in montauk - for $7.
If you've watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, you know the 2004 Michel Gondry classic needs to be viewed again (and again, and again) for maximum enjoyment / comprehension / laughs / cries / hair colors. Watch Michel Gondry get interviewed by NYLON TV. It's amazing. The film follows a rickety young couple (Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet) as they combust with love, hate, and everything in between, ultimately going to extreme (and literally surreal) lengths to erase their mutual heartbreak. Elijah Wood, Mark Ruffalo, and Kirsten Dunst play supporting (annd equally kooky and sympathetic) characters. Watch Elijah Wood on NYLON TV! iTunes just made Eternal Sunshine one of their Picks of the Week, which means you can download the movie (for keeps) for $7. At cost-per-view, that's a really good deal - especially since it takes about five run-throughs just to totally understand what was real, what was dreamed, and what the unlikely style icon Clementine Kruczynski (Winslet) was wearing the whole time.
