Boy/Friend ‘Eve’ featuring Vashtie

Hopefully by now your ears have already warmed up to BOY/FRIEND--and if not, then they'll thank you in a second.

The New York-based singer (pronounced boy-slash-friend) and his velvety-smooth vocals originally won us over last year with his debut LP Leather Weather, but he quickly took our butterflies to full-fledged band crush level when he dropped his "Theme Song" video earlier this month (featuring none other than Joey Lawrence, natch).

He's got a '90s R&B vibe, with the shadowy beats of someone like The Dream, the croony vocals of Autre Ne Veut, Miguel, or Shy Girls, and the charisma of all four swirled together. And just in time for Valentine's Day, BOY/FRIEND has recruited NYLON fave Vashtie to make a cameo on his new track "Eve."
