Fall Out Boy Covered Ariana Grande, And Our Lives Are Complete

Our ears have been truly blessed

Ariana Grande’s angelic vocals bring out the pop princess in all of us—even punk stars. During a visit to SiriusXM Radio this week, Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump decided to perform his take on Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry.” The result was an acoustic, low-key version of the Sweetener single.

With just a guitar and his unparalleled vocal range, Stump’s stripped-down cover brought even more soul to an already emotional song. Our middle school hearts are collectively swooning.

Grande’s Sweetener comes out on August 17, and we can only hope that Stump decides to bless us with more pop-punk versions of the new bops that the album will no doubt hold. Is there enough time to get Stump a feature on one of the album’s songs?
