find that fuchsia

have we discovered the perfect pink?!

by liza darwin

Ever since we first spotted the look on the Spring/Summer runways of everyone from Jil Sander to Chanel to Fendi, it's been our mission to score the perfect shade of pink. And thanks to NARS, we've finally found it.

Just in time for warm weather, the beauty brand has unveiled Pure Matte Lipsticks, a collection of nine shades that last for hours without making lips chapped or dry. And while all are pretty great, the standout hue, Carthage, is the one most worth its $25 price tag. This juicy fuchsia shade is bold enough to swipe on barefaced for an easy daytime look, but not so out-there that you'll be mistaken for a Barbie wannabe.

Oh, and the fact that Emma Stone recently rocked this exact same electric pink at the Met Gala doesn't hurt, either. Buy it here for the ultimate kiss-off....in the prettiest way possible, of course.
