FIRST LOOK: ALICE + OLIVIA S/S ’13

ladies, it’s time to put your pedal pushers on.

Back in February, Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet presented a range of ‘70s inspired party-wear (think sequined shift dresses, groovy striped pantsuits, and pageboy caps).

Now a full season later, Bendet's latest collection journeys even further back in time- about two and half decades to be exact.

Inspired by mid-50's fashion, Alice + Olivia's Spring '13 look book boasts everything from full-body skirts to printed pedal pushers, and adorable embellished mini-cardigans. “It's 50s flirty fun for the girl who is never afraid to dress up,” says Bendet of the range, before jokingly adding, “I just decided I would dedicate this collection to NYLON.” Joke or not, we're totally honored and would happily wear each and every piece.

Prediction for Bendet's next collection: We're thinking the ‘20s?
