FKA Twigs Covers Sias Elastic Heart

Over the past few years, FKA twigs and Sia have been transforming pop music, leading it away from its prior bubblegum sphere and into something a bit more multi-dimensional. And despite both artists' extremely different styles, the two overlapped today in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. Twigs, who released her EP M3LL155X last month, covered the Australian singer-songwriter's anthemic "Elastic Heart." Bringing her own, slow-burning style to the track—replete with haunting vocals and reverbs—twigs transformed her visit into a full-scale performance, choreography and all. This, our friends, is what magic looks and sounds like.
