Whatever it is you do, it’s imperative to know and understand how you affect the space around you. Some call it awareness, others might consider it playing one’s part. How one goes about that is unique to them, but we’ve found dancing to be a fabulous place to start. (You could call it the great unifier.)
Luckily for you (and us), French Horn Rebellion’s newest track is designed to do just that. The Brooklyn-based brother duo teamed up with singer-songwriter and trumpeter Spencer Ludwig for a blissfully optimistic bop called “Play Your Part.” It’s the second single to come off FHR’s forthcoming Foolin’ Around EP (out November 6), taking the technicolored two-stepping of “Classical Baby” and pushing it even deeper into the groove. Them good vibes pulsate through the layers of synths, a slick bassline, and triumphant trumpet. Take your troubles to whatever it is you define as a dance floor. (You don’t have to be in a club to find one, you know.) Groove on to this.
