The Look:

The Dreslyn, "Easy Like a Sunday Morning" Editorial

The Dreslyn's motto is "Style before fashion," and I couldn't agree more. Along with serving up tons of styling tips (seriously, I click through at least three times a week), the boutique also just provided my dream springtime wardrobe. A bralet plus a pencil skirt plus a trench might seem strange at first, but these various proportions make the result just right.

The Face:

Rooney Mara in

Ain't Them Bodies Saints

My new-slash-old hair obsession is a look I'm dubbing "the hipster half-up." Yes, it's a definite throwback to the early '00s half-up, half-down 'do that was the fad during middle school. Except the key this time around is to secure it higher upon your head, and to make it messy and definitely

not

too "done." Need a visual? Rooney Mara's character in

Ain't Them Bodies Saints

has it down pat. Channel her with a little help from

this awesome tutorial

courtesy of Nasty Gal.

The News:

Watch the new Jupiter Ascending trailer!

It's here, and it's awesome.

The Inspiration:

Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone in Aerosmith's "Crazy" Video

Don't you want to just skip class (or work) and drive around with the top down? Yeah, us too. That's not quite possible...so while we're waiting for the weekend, we'll have this video on loop.

The Song:

"Seasons Change (Waiting On You)" by Future Islands

It's going to be tough to find a song that fills me with as many warm and fuzzies as this one from Future Islands. Luckily, there's a whole new album filled with similar heartfelt jams, totally ready for your listening pleasure.

and let the good times roll.
