From the start, we've always known that Grimes is an artist that can't be contained by a singular medium. On the surface, the Canadian creative is recognized as a singer, songwriter, and producer, but she also wears the titles of visual artist, engineer, and director. Soon, this former NYLON cover girl will be able to add author to her résumé as well.
Last night, Grimes revealed that she's been working on a novel in a post on Instagram. Longtime music collaborator HANA is also serving as Grimes' editor for the project. "This is gonna be a dang endurance test if there ever was one and don't expect anything good for like 20-25 years," she stated.
While we wait, at least we can enjoy all of the artwork that Grimes shares on the @grimesartofficial IG account. Leave it to Grimes to make masterpieces out of everything she sets her mind to.
