Say what you will about Iggy Azalea's questionable social media antics—the 24-year-old does create some really great music. And even if you're not a fan, you have to admit that it's catchy. So it only makes sense that for her latest collaboration, Azalea is teaming up with the queen of pop herself: Britney Spears.

At Sunday's iHeartRadio Awards, Azalea spoke with MTV about the song. Apparently the track, which will be released May 5, originally started as Spears' song with a small feature by Azalea. When Spears thought her album would be delayed, Azalea took the song back and rewrote parts—it thus became "her" song. But when Spears realized the album would, in fact, be completed in time, Azalea sent the rewritten version back. "In turn, it's kind of really evolved to something that I was just featured on originally into really a true duet," clarified Azalea.

And, yes, it seems as if everything's going well between the pair. "She's super nice," Azalea said of Spears. "She came to my house and had lunch and I didn't know what to expect, and we actually really got along. I've been texting her, annoying her with all my ideas for the video and she's been a really good sport about it, so I'm really excited."

So far, the rapper doesn't have any collaborations officially planned for her upcoming album. "I'm still just kind of working on my own stuff," said Azalea. "And it's really a personal goal of mine to get some singles out there that aren't collaborations—that are just mine. And once I feel like I've secured that and have that solidly done, then I'll start to think about my collaborations."
