“This Is The Best Day Of My LIfe.”

Awards season is barely underway, but it looks like we may have already gotten the best acceptance speech of the year. It came courtesy of nine-year-old Jacob Tremblay, who stuns alongside in Brie Larson in this year's unforgettable movie Room. Last night, Tremblay was named best young actor/actress at the Critics' Choice Awards, and in moments, had the star-studded audience melting in their seats. Not only that, the young Tremblay also hit all the check marks that make a good acceptance speech.

"Whoa! This is super cool. This is the best day of my life," Tremblay said, before acknowledging his fellow nominees. "I first want to say thank you to all the critics who voted for me. It must be a super hard vote because of all the other great actors in this category." Check. Tremblay then remarked that the award belongs to everyone who worked on Room. "I also want to thank team Room, who is Lenny, Emma, Brie, Ed, and all the other producers over there. I think that us working together made this movie come true, and this award doesn't just go to me for that, it goes to all of you guys as well." Check.

Finally, he revealed where he's going to keep his new hardware. "On the shelf right beside my Millennium Falcon." Check.

It's a good thing Tremblay's acceptance game is so tight. This won't be his last. Watch above.
