Watch The Trailer For Judd Apatow’s ‘Love,’ Your New Favorite TV Show
Officially sold
After taking a slight detour this summer with Trainwreck, Judd Apatow is back to doing what he does best—telling stories about sad-sack dudes who fall for girls way out of their league. In his new Netflix comedy Love, the dude in question is Paul Rust's Gus, and the girl is Gillian Jacobs' Mickey.
In the first trailer for the upcoming 10-episode season, we see the early stages of the romance that will anchor the show. There's the quintessential Apatow meet-cute, some bonding over weed, and the mutual acknowledgement that "relationships are fucking bullshit."
Rust, who's been embedded in L.A.'s alt-comedy scene for years, also serves as executive producer, writer and creator, along with Apatow and Girls alum Lesley Arfin. Jacobs meanwhile, looks to have finally found the role that's going make her a really big deal.
Love drops on Netflix on Feb. 1. Watch the trailer above.
