The Look:

James Long for Topman

Um, that thing that happens when Sunday is over and it’s suddenly Monday morning and all you want to do is pull on your boyfriend’s jeans, an oversized sweater, and run out the door. What happened to the weekend?!

The Face:

Bright eyes and orange lips a la DKNY

Springtime means a beauty routine shakeup needs to happen, and I’m taking cues from DKNY’s awesome makeup for SS14. This gorgeous combo of ulta-long lashes and tangerine lips is essentially the beauty equivalent of a fruity cocktail: fun, easygoing, and 100-percent happy.

The News:

Anna Kendrick killed it on SNL!

Not that we ever really had any doubt that the singer, actress, and all-around hilarious double threat would nail her SNL hosting gig, but she did. Our favorite sketch? When Kendrick played Ariel from

The Little Mermaid,

and covered hits from Ke$ha, Iggy Azalea, and more. Even though

Sofia Coppola’s adaptation

is definitely going to be, uh, different, than this one, we’re throwing Kendrick’s name into the casting ring anyway. Watch the sketch below!

The Inspiration:

Kate Bosworth for Vanessa Bruno

We’ve already seen a million different version of Kate Bosworth in her movies—as a surfer, as a Tad Hamilton-obsessed student, as Lois Lane—but we hadn’t truly seen the actress as a gorgeous, sparkly pixie until she became the face of Vanessa Bruno a couple of years ago. These ads pretty much radiate magic, and are the perfect thing to start your Monday off on a glittery, rainbow-colored note.

The Song:

“Repeat Pleasure” by How To Dress Well

Although I’ll always love his slow jams, the upbeat tempo and sway-along melodies of How to Dress Well’s new single is pure pop gold. Can’t stop, won’t stop listening.
