style showdown: silver supers

We must have missed the memo for all the mega-models to wear silver this week. (We should have known when we spied all that shiny Helmut Lang clothing at the Modellounge x Microsoft last week that something was up.)

In just 24 hours, both Kate Moss and Alexa Chung wore super-shiny outfits to events, leading us to believe silver is the new black. (Sorry, orange.) At an auction of artwork of her (an all-Kate Moss art auction!), Moss opted to go platinum in a satin suit, heather gray T-shirt, and diamond jewelry because if you're going to go sparkly, you gotta go all the way. Chung opted for a ruched Carven dress that she paired with black pumps, red lips, and a Chanel resort '14 perspex bag shaped like a bottle of Chanel No. 5. 

We know, it is physically impossible to choose between Kate Moss and Alexa Chung. All our senses just reject it. The two model it-girls are like our two unofficial spokeswomen--they're the coolest, best dressed, do-it-all ladies around.
